BENIGN BRAIN TUMOUR Means a non-cancerous tumour in the brain, directly resulting in at least 25% impairment of whole person functionˆ that is permanent . The presence of the underlying tumour must be confirmed by CT Scan, MRI or other imaging studies. Excluded are cysts, granulomas, cholesteatomas, malformations in or of the arteries or veins of the brain, haematomas and tumours in the cranial nerves, meninges, pituitary gland or spine.
