1. Supporting development and career progression Engage our employees to deliver their best. Foster a learning culture that supports the development of our people.
• Strong employee engagement which ranks us in the top 15% of organisations in the Gallup Finance and Insurance benchmark 12 . • Launched new cohorts of our internal leadership development programmes, The CEO Think Tank, HIKITIA MAI Women in Leadership and Emerging Leaders. • An average of 26.1 hours training hours per employee (target 24 hours of learning per person for 2023). • We maintain annual partnerships with TupuToa and First Foundation to offer internships, sponsorships, and mentoring opportunities that support the development of emerging leaders from Māori, Pasifika, and diverse socio-economic backgrounds across Aotearoa. • We partnered with Pride Pledge to deepen our commitment to rainbow inclusivity. • We achieved Advanced GenderTick status for the second consecutive year. • We were awarded the Accessibility Tick for the second year in a row. Noted as a market- leading organisation for our Neurodiversity Toolkit, we have also made significant forward momentum with the launch of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme for our people.
